Greg Armstrong, director of land management and environmental education

Greg Armstrong serves as director of land management and environmental education at Holy Wisdom Monastery, a role he has filled since 2014. Previously he assisted in the successful Wisdom Prairie Project, an effort to raise $1.9 million to acquire and restore 53 acres of farmland into native prairie and oak savanna. Greg came out of retirement to work at Holy Wisdom Monastery after working as the executive director at the University of Wisconsin-Madison Arboretum for 21 years. Greg is a native of Cooksville, Wisconsin.
