The State of Wisconsin’s Ecological Communities and What We Can Do to Care for the Earth

Join the Friends of Wisdom Prairie for their Annual Meeting and Dinner Lecture by Emeritus Professor of Botany Donald Waller.

Professor Donald Waller served an illustrious career on the faculty in the Botany Department at the University of Wisconsin-Madison for more than 40 years. In addition to his ecological research and teaching he led several efforts to prevent the degradation of the native ecosystems in Wisconsin. He was also one of most important faculty members to initiate a research program in Restoration Ecology.

At the Annual Meeting of the Friends of Wisdom Prairie we will celebrate the year’s accomplishments in caring for the earth and providing environmental education at Holy Wisdom Monastery. If there are any vacancies on the Friends of Wisdom Prairie Council, we will hold and election for new members.
