Prairie Rhapsody

Please join us for Prairie Rhapsody
A benefit concert at Holy Wisdom Monastery [Register now]
Reverence for creation is a centuries-old Benedictine value. The Sisters care for the land because it is good for the land, the Lake Mendota watershed, and the many people who come to the monastery.
Over the course of the last fifteen years, we’ve partnered with volunteers and donors like you to restore more than 100 acres of prairie, reclaim a 10,000 year-old glacial lake, and create a detention pond to capture sediment and pollution-laden run-off headed for Lake Mendota.
Today, these restored areas provide: 1) quiet meditation places for guests; 2) rich and diverse habitat for wildlife; 3) scenic vistas for all to enjoy; and 4) protection for Lake Mendota.
Thursday, June 28, 2012

His light-hearted informative guidance helps you hear more in the music! Trevor will be joined by Chicago-based virtuoso viola da gambist Anna Steinhoff, and acclaimed soprano Erin Cooper Gay from Toronto.
