Our monastic tradition creates a sacred bond between host and guest. Rather than simply renting or using space in the monastery, we welcome and invite guests to experience a place of high standards reflecting the sisters’ mission, vision and values. Because of this, our amenities are different than other meeting facilities.
Holy Wisdom Monastery offers:
- A quiet, contemplative environment, conducive to retreats
- A campus on 138 acres of land, including restored prairies, a small glacial lake, woodlands, gardens, orchards, wetlands and 4 miles of nature trails
- A small chapel (oratory) with daily prayer services 5 times a day, open to all
- Sunday worship at 9:00 am with Eucharist
- A spirituality library with 4000 volumes
- A LEED certified energy efficient building with the latest technology for guests
- Meeting rooms for 2-300 people
