Holy Wisdom Monastery is located just 20 minutes from downtown Madison, Wisconsin and the university, overlooking Lake Mendota.
Our campus features
- the Monastery, including space to pray, eat and hold or attend events;
the Retreat and Guest House, including space to sleep, retreat and hold or attend meetings - two Hermitages, private cabins for stays of one week or more

- four miles of nature trails give you a quiet, peaceful place to walk and enjoy a slower pace.

Benedictine life is rooted in a rhythm of prayer. All guests are invited to join us in daily prayer or Sunday worship, regardless of your faith tradition.
