Individuals and groups are invited to share their time and talents at the monastery. Our work is possible because of the hundreds of volunteers who join us in caring for the earth and supporting spiritual growth for seekers from around the world. Volunteer outdoors or indoors, depending on your preference.
Volunteers in Community spend extended periods of time living at Holy Wisdom Monastery. Single women live in community for two weeks or more during the summer. Environmental volunteers help preserve the natural environment at Holy Wisdom Monastery. Whether you volunteer alone or with a group, we appreciate your interest and support. Depending on the season and the amount of time you have to offer, you might volunteer in the prairie and collect seed, pick apples, split logs, prune bushes, or maintain nature trails. Program volunteers support the work of the community. You might prepare mailings, photograph events, enter names into our database, help with event planning or organize projects.
